Beauty Abounds

This week if you are driving thru Historic Downtown Kenersville we invite yoou to stop by the Harmon House Events Center and enjoy the red camellias in the front yard. We suggest you make a stop at the coffee shop next door , pick up a cup of coffee, take a seat in one of the rockers on front porch, listen to music (playing 24/7) and enjoy the beauty God has created for us .

Directly across the street from the Harmon House Events Center is Harmon Park . Beauty abounds from  the white and pink Cherry trees  which are in full bloom , Lovely yellow and purple pansies  surround the water fountain-- a lovely  site you will enjoy.

Don't forget our Easter Brunch this Sunday April 20,2014.  We have a few more seats available --call today for reservations.

Dear Imogene HH

I was so proud to celebrate my 80th birthday at the Harmon House Events Center.  All my family and out-of-town friends were in awe of it's beauty!  Thank you very much for the extra time. You are so kind and thoughtful. Everything went well. It was an enjoyable time of celebration with friends and family at the lovely HHEC.    Happy Easter

Ninth Season of Weddings

Spring is right around the corner and we are excited about our ninth upcoming season of weddings and wedding receptions,rehearsal dinners, baby and bridal showers, anniversary parties and corporate events-here at the Harmon House Events Center. Chandeliers are being cleaned, furniture polished, and bulbs are bursting thru the ground outside in the yard and around the Gazebo (Our Special place for weddings)!

Plans are being made for a new addition to the Event Center, which wil enlarge the space for activities. One of the favorite "Portrait Locations" for Brides is the new patio that was built last  year and joins the Gazebo.  DJ's love to set up here for dancing the night away. Second Annual Easter Brunch

Easter is right arround the corner and Harmon House Events Center is excited to announce our second annual Easter Brunch on Sunday April 20,2014.

We will provide two seating's:  The first one at 11:00 AM and the second at 1:00 PM. The food will be catered by Mary at Buttercup Cafe out of Denton NC.  Last year Buttercup Cafe served the meal and everyone had nothing but high praises for the food and presentation. Mary and her staff is wonderful at what they do and are one of the top Caterer's in the Triad Area.

FUN IN KERNERSVILLE

If you are looking for something fun to do this week-end, plan to come downtown Kernersville for the Honeybee Festival.

The Festival will begin at 10:AM at the Fourth of July Park and will continue until 5:00PM.  There will be live entertainment , childrens activities, crafts, food vendors and much more for you to enjoy.  Also the Pink Ribbon Rally Breast Cancer fun-raiser

will be held  on Saturday Agust 23 from 6:00PM -10:00 PM at the Kids Clubhouse, located at 745-G Cinema Court.

The event is sponsored by Dr Amy Jo Fischer of Smiles and Designs and also a survivor of breast cancer.  Plan to spend the 

day at the Honeybee Festival and stay and support the Pink Ribbon Rally at 6:00 PM.

Be on the look-out for construction to begin soon on a new sun-room to be built at the Harmon House Events Center.  We are excited as this will provide more space for our weddings, receptions and other events held at the Harmon House.  Keep reading our blog for more information 

Excitement at the Harmon House Events Center

Fifteen 8 Ft. glass windows and doors arrived at the Harmon House Events Center on Tuesday of last week.  Today the Craig and Kent Perryman Builders began the task of closing in the side porch using those doors and windows, which will become our new Sun Room.  This will provide more space for guests to use at Weddings, Rceptions and other events held at the Harmon House.  Stop by and take a look at work going on in the "New Garden" which is now being designed outside the Sun Room.  We invite you to bring your garden shoes and gloves, get dirty and plant bulbs with us.  We will take a break now and then and enjoy the lovely autumn leaves around us.  Peace Joy and Love   Imogene
